Summery colours

Flower power

Inspiration: Cécile Hudrisier

So it’s been summer for a couple of weeks or so now and although the weather hasn’t been too bad these past few days I still feel I need more sun and bright colours.

Fortunately, my watercolour palette is full of them!

*Watercolour flowers (Yes, I like playing with words as well!)

This is a practice sheet that I sarted on Saturday and finished this morning. For some reason I find it very liberating painting/drawing flowers!

Petites fleurs des champs

Se balancent au gré du vent.

I miss writing in French sometimes, so I treated myself with a bit of poetry above. It roughly reads (sorry, I am not going to try to make this rhyme in English): “Little meadow flowers | Swing in the wind”.
