Branching out

Hi everyone!

Those of you who have been following my blog for a little while may have noticed that some of my recent illustrations have been more – what to call it?… – more ‘adult’ in a way.

How did I get there from my light-hearted and sometimes quirky children’s illustrations?

Well, I do still love drawing for children. A lot!

But sometimes I also feel like I want to draw something else.

I started doing it ‘in private’ (my boyfriend owns a whole collection of such drawings and doodles) before I even considered posting them anywhere on the internet. Then I realised that it wasn’t incompatible with what I was already drawing.

It’s still ‘me’. Just a different aspect of my art and my personality, a different ‘mood’ for a more grown-up audience.

Hungry devices (below) is my latest one.

Strangely Silly Things

This illustration is for all of you who, like me, talk to the characters on the TV screen when they are about to do a very, very silly thing.

Duh!

So it’s the end of the week again! And in case you haven’t noticed, I like to post silly illustrations before the weekend just because.

Have a good one!

Back to school

So September is back! This means that some of you might have gone back to school/uni/work.

I’m wondering: which one of these guys were you when that happened?

Alright, don’t think about it too much. Now is time to sit down, relax and enjoy your weekend!

Vacances dans le sud de la France – E4

Last week a lilman was playing pétanque with a mischievous look on his face.

This week, for the last episode of the ‘Vacances’ series (eh oui, it’s almost time to go back to school already!), we finally find out what he was up to.

Remember: do NOT play pétanque next to someone who’s sleeping, and do NOT take a nap near someone who’s playing pétanque!

Vacances dans le sud de la France – E3

In this episode, a very French game: la pétanque!

By now we know that these little guys like doing silly things. And this story is to be continued in episode 4. Can you guess what is going to happen?
