After a long absence on Illustration Friday I finally did my comeback last night. The theme for the week was ‘moon’.

Happy Friday and have a good weekend!

Leon & Lola, and their recipe!

At last, Leon and Lola are proud to present their dark chocolate chip recipe!

They advise to experiment with the baking time since every oven is different but as a general rule, taking them out before they are golden brown will give you soft cookies whereas leaving them a bit longer will result in crunchy cookies (Lola’s favourites!).

Have fun making them!!!

Say hello to these two little guys!

They will be featuring in an illustrated recipe soon and they’re patiently waiting for me to finish it!

My most recent cards

Happy Bastille Day everyone!

My holiday is now behind me and my house move is in 10 days only! As I said in June, these are busy times but I have got some comments from one of my biggest fans who complained that I hadn’t posted anything in a while. I am lacking actual new artwork to show so my most recent greeting cards designs will have to do! All of them are my very own creations but one: this year’s Mother’s Day card (the two hugging birds on hot pink background) was inspired from a similar card I saw on Pinterest (I only changed the colours and added some hand-drawn details).

Enjoy! 🙂

Oh and I’ve just been notified that this is my 100th blog post so double reason for me to celebrate today!

Long time no see

Hello everyone!

It’s been a few days since I last posted something. The reason I have been absent from my blog is that I spent most of last week at the London Book Fair. I had a great time there: I attended inspirational seminars, met a lot of interesting people, and in the process I got a few new ideas that I’m sure you will hear about in the future.

Last week I also signed a contract for a new children’s picture book! Yay! 🙂

Other than that, I don’t know if you’ve noticed but there’s more and more chocolate eggs, and chick and rabbit-related stuff in shops… Easter must be close! So in order to be in line with the trend of the moment I quickly put together the following:

Don’t hesitate to share your impressions and to let me know which colour you prefer!

Love is in the air

A Valentine’s Day special today. To honour the theme of love, here is a card I made for two of my friends who got married last year:

The front of the card…

… and the back.
