Beware of the wolf

If you are having a birthday party, beware of the wolf. I heard he is on the lookout for unattended birthday cake and he strikes fast!

Update and Paper Cutting

Hi everyone!

First, a quick update: with September came a lot of work and (potentially) some exciting news (more on this in another post – I’m such a teaser, I know!). Lots of new ideas too: I went to the Autumn Fair in Birmingham at the beginning of the week and as well as seeing a lot of lovely things, this day out of the studio enabled me to reflect on my work and to come up with new ideas for things I want to do. I am sure that in the next few weeks some of my dormant doodles will come to life again so watch out for these!

And now, here is what you’ve all been waiting for:

I wanted to try something new and paper cutting sounded fun. I half regretted my decision when I had to make the braces but then I was fine again when I painted the icing stains on this little guy’s face!

Have a good weekend!

Vacances dans le sud de la France – E3

In this episode, a very French game: la pétanque!

By now we know that these little guys like doing silly things. And this story is to be continued in episode 4. Can you guess what is going to happen?

January & February Cards

Hey, hey, hey!

I was a bit behind when it comes to posting my most recent card designs so here we go, a quick catch-up on what I have been doing cards-wise in the past couple of months!

Today I made that! 🙂

Will be uploading onto Society6, Redbubble and ArtRookie very soon*.

My most recent cards

Happy Bastille Day everyone!

My holiday is now behind me and my house move is in 10 days only! As I said in June, these are busy times but I have got some comments from one of my biggest fans who complained that I hadn’t posted anything in a while. I am lacking actual new artwork to show so my most recent greeting cards designs will have to do! All of them are my very own creations but one: this year’s Mother’s Day card (the two hugging birds on hot pink background) was inspired from a similar card I saw on Pinterest (I only changed the colours and added some hand-drawn details).

Enjoy! 🙂

Oh and I’ve just been notified that this is my 100th blog post so double reason for me to celebrate today!

Happy bearthday

To keep up with the tradition of the past few weeks, here is another birthday card I made last week. And a little bit of news while I’m at it: I have only very recently opened an Etsy shop (there are a few Christmas cards on there already and more products to come in the near future) and this card (the polar bear one) actually gave me a few ideas of home crafted cards that I could sell on there. I am also thinking of drawing original illustrations on notebooks. If any of you has any further ideas on what you would like to see in my shop – ideally of things that are not breakable (I have thought of mugs with my original designs on too but I still need to think about the safe transportation issue; but in the meantime you can still get mugs from my Society 6 shop!) – do get in touch!
